"Come,all you who are thirsty,come to the waters;

and you who have no money, come, buy and eat!

Come,buy wine and milk without money and without cost.

Why spend money on what is not bread,

and your labor on what does not satisfy?

Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good,

and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.

Give ear and come to me; hear me,

that your soul may live.

I will make an everlasting covenant with you,

my faithful love promised to David...

Seek the Lord while he may be found;

call on him while he is near.

Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts.

Let him turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him,

and to our God, for he will freely pardon.

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts,

neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord.

"As the heavens are higher than the earth,

so are my ways higher than your ways

and my thoughts than your thoughts.

As the rain and the snow come down from heaven,

and do not return to it without watering the earth

and making it bud and flourish,

so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,

so is my word that goes out from my mouth:

It will not return to me empty,

but will accomplish what I desire

and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Remember this, fix it in mind,

take it to heart...

I am God, and there is no other;

I am God and there is none like me.

I make known the end from the beginning,

from ancient times, what is still to come.

I say: my purpose will stand,

and I will do all that I please...

What I have said, that will I bring about;

what I have planned, that will I do.

...and for you who revere my name,

the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings.

And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall.

Those who suffer he delivers in their suffering;

he speaks to them in their affliction.

"He is wooing you from the jaws of distress

to a spacious place free from restriction,

o the comfort of your table laden with choice food.

He humbled you, causing you to hunger...

to teach you that man does not live by bread alone

but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.

...he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.

...it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven.

For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven

and gives life to the world...

I am the bread of life.

He who comes to me will never go hungry,

and he who believes in me will never be thirsty...

"Come to me, all you who are weary and heavy laden,

and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you and learn of me,

for I am meek and lowly in heart,

and you shall find rest unto your souls.

For my yoke is easy and my burden is light...

Come, for all things are now ready.
